Chisholm & Winch is a stalwart of Essex construction - Fifty years old in 2023, turning over £15 to £20 million for many consecutive years, and depended on by customers who come back. 

Two things changed at once. The founding owners began moving towards retirement, handing over to a new leadership team, and the pipeline in some long-standing markets started to slow. A business with that much history has a particular problem when it renews itself: the things that made it successful are the things it is most reluctant to examine.

We started with an honest appraisal of what had worked historically against what the next decade would ask for - Deliberately framed as consolidation rather than revolution, because a business with fifty years of controlled success does not need tearing up. 

We built sector profiles and defined the perfect customer for the senior leadership team, and used those to identify the key markets for the coming twelve months. Each one links to a fully data-enriched target list for outreach and lead generation, so the strategy arrives with the means to act on it. Alongside that we produced new sales collateral, including capability documents with a fresh design aesthetic, and coaching tailored to specific client engagements.

The engagement is live. What the business has already is a defined view of where the next twelve months of work should come from, more than 150 named target contacts in those markets, collateral that reflects where the business is going rather than where it has been, and a leadership team equipped to have those conversations themselves.
